    Гражданская_Оборона GrOb

Grazhdanskaya Oborona (Meaning "Civil Defense") was a pioneering Soviet and Russian post-punk band formed in 1984 in Omsk by Egor Letov, its lead singer and songwriter.

A cornerstone of Russian punk, the band was known for its raw sound and provocative, anti-establishment lyrics that challenged Soviet authority, often facing censorship and harassment. Their music evolved from gritty punk to include psychedelic and experimental elements, with iconic albums like Myshelovka (1987) and Russkoe Pole Eksperimentov (1989).
