UK WWI battlecruiser, lead ship of her class. Armed with 6 15in guns in 3 turrets. Extensively upgraded (with her original 6in armored belt being replaced with a 9in belt just after WW1 followed by further upgrades to her armor, complete replacement of her original 4in secondary battery with 10 x 2 4.5in dual purpose guns, replacement of her engines with modern ones and rebuilding her turrets to allow for higher elevation of guns and thus longer range fire) during the interwar period. Served in WWII with distinction. Scrapped post war. Only one out of the 7 British-style battlecruisers still around when WW2 started (these being her, her sister HMS Repulse, HMS Hood, and 4 Japanese Kongou-class battlecruisers/fast battleships) that was still both afloat and operational when war ended).
