She starts out as her original US Navy Independence-class form, with her rigging consisting of her real-life flight deck split in two, a catapult, her two funnels at the back and her 76 mm AA single mounts. Her Kai form adds her hull number to her now combined flight deck and SK radar to her right, while her funnels are reduced to two and her 76 mm AA single mounts are replaced by two Bofors 40mm quad AA mounts. Her rifle now also has a bayonet attached.
She was transferred to France in the post-war period as La Fayette, named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette.
