A limp hand without strength associated with femininity, gay subculture and ghosts.

For tagging purposes only use this tag if the whole hand is limp, so no clenched hand, v, w, pointing or other hand signs because there are already two other wrist pose tags (dorsiflexion (wrist) and palmar flexion) and if the whole hand isn't limp this tag is going to overlap too much with the other tags.

    Perpendicular Type

Use this tag if a character's wrist looks limp and it's perpendicular to the forearm (palmar flexion) making an inverted "L" shape when there is one hand up. If the forearm is horizontal then the hand will point down. The fingers will be "almost" fully extended. They won't be spread fingers unless the character is flexing their hand.

In general only use this tag if the hand is "in the air" and not on a surface because a limp hand on a surface won't look perpendicular.

    Examples
inverted "L" shape like palmar flexion
    ghost pose with limp wrists
    holding a limp paw
inserting a wedding ring (pov hands)
    fanning self + motion lines
    shooing + motion lines
    Non-examples
most palmar flexion + head rest have the fingers closing like this so it's not a limp wrist
    palmar flexion + pointing
palmar flexion because gravity would be the hand go the other way in this case
a limp hand on a surface... because it's on the surface it doesn't look perpendicular

    Closed hand type

You can have a limp wrist that looks like dorsiflexion (wrist) but it's very rare. The arm must be horizontal and the palm facing upward. The fingers will be almost closed. Do not tag if it's a clenched hand.

If the character is standing with the arm upright, do not tag with limp wrist. You can try it yourself. If you put your hands up and make your wrists limp, the fingers will fall forward. The only way to make them closed is if you flex first and they will stay upright. Generally a post tagged with dorsiflexion (wrist) has the wrist bent backwards which means it's being flexed so it shouldn't be tagged with limp wrist.

    Examples
like dorsiflexion with palm facing up
    Non-examples
neither hand poses can be done without flexing the wrist (dorsiflexion (wrist))

    Arms down type

Do not use this tag if the character has a limp hand with their arm down at rest because that's going to be literally every post with arms down ever.

    Non-examples
this is just a guy standing
