A series of science fiction light novels, running from 1992 to 2000, by author Kanzaka Hajime, the same creator for Slayers. It was later adapted into an anime spanning 26 episodes that ran throughout the summer of 1998 on TV Tokyo.

Infamous for its poor animation quality, which later gave rise to various QUALITY parodies of various error/poorly-drawn anime.
