Mark Zwei Kai (マークツヴァイ改), nicknamed Grimreaper (グリムリーパー), is the upgraded version of Mark Zwei and piloted by Kazuki Makabe and Maris Excelsior.
Kazuki pilots Grimreaper during the Fifth Operation Azure as part of the first team. The team arrives on the battlefield by rockets, breaking the shield surrounding the area. A huge Festum attacks and the Grimreaper nullifies the attack using its SDP and returns the enemy to nothingness. Arriving at a crystallized forest, the team gets attacked by Specter and Grimreaper blocks an attack meant for Mark Sein. Kazuki spots a girl who transforms into an Azazel-type Festum and attacks Grimreaper, who nullifies the attack. Grimreaper continues to fight the Azazel-type while Kazuku urges Miwa Hino to go for the rocket. The rocket gets away and Kazuki disappears from the cockpit, causing Grimreaper to be taken away by the enemy.[1]
Maris boards Grimreaper when their island comes under attack and jumps into the water to attack Chronos and its swarm.[2] Grimreaper tries to nullify the attacks but it gets overwhelmed by the amount and Serenoa contacts Maris to retreat.[3] Specter and Grimreaper are used to travel to Wadatsumijima in an attempt to retrieve Soushi Minashiro.[4]
