Paramount Pictures Corporation (commonly known as Paramount Pictures and also known simply as Paramount) is an American film studio. It is the fifth oldest film studio in the world and the second oldest film studio in the United States.
The distinctively pyramidal Paramount mountain has been the mainstay of the company's production logo since its inception and is the oldest surviving Hollywood film logo.
