The Phlanger-Katsumata "Doppelgänger" (PKD) series blaster is a futuristic looking handgun from the 1982 film Blade Runner.
Because of its stopping power it is the weapon of choice of most Blade Runners when "retiring" Replicants.
The prop for the film was developed using parts from a revolver and the firing mechanism of an old Austrian battle rifle. The name of the weapon comes from the initials of the author Philip K. Dick, who wrote the short story the movie was based on.
