Planet Glorie is an Earth-type planet with different environments and several types of weather. While most of the surface is covered with deserts and arid mountainous zones, it also has small oceans, some jungles, temperate forests and cold polar zones.
For several decades large populations of humans have colonized and terraformed the planet to make it their home.
