Character from the Mario series, first appearing in Super Mario Galaxy. Known as Rosetta in Japan. She is a mysterious woman who travels the cosmos on her starship, the Comet Observatory, along with her adopted Lumas.
Relationship to Peach
During her conceptualization, she was considered to possibly be a relative of Princess Peach, hence the visual similarities [1], but this idea did not make it into the final game. In The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Rosalina is Peach's older sister, but this is not considered canon to the games, and should not be tagged as such unless the post specifically alludes to the movie or that relationship.
