Silent Hill is a 2006 film adaptation of the video game series Silent Hill.
The film follows Rose, whose adopted daughter Sharon goes missing in the town of Silent Hill following a car accident. While searching for Sharon, she fights a local cult while uncovering her daughter's connection to the town's past.
A sequel, Silent Hill: Revelation, taking place six years after the first film's events, was released on October 26, 2012.
The film includes elements from the first, second, third, and fourth games in the series.
