A variant Nutkin (a.k.a. Nut Eater) in the Final Fantasy series.
In its Final Fantasy V debut it is merely a grey squirrel with a grey acorn, although the meaning of its name becomes clear when it evades attacks, calls allies, and lethally strikes party members. Later titles depict it with a skull.
