Character from Hyouka. Second-year student of Kamiyama High School, and head of its Executive Committee. Also a close friend to student council president Kugayama Muneyoshi.
He was later discovered by Oreki Houtarou to be part of the one-time doujin circle Ajimu Takuha with Kugayama and Anjou Haruna, as well as being the culprit behind the Juumoji incident in the Kanya Festival.
