An emotional episode fueled by feelings of anger, distress or refusal. Often involves screaming, crying, lying or rollingon the floor, flailing of arms, or throwing objects. There are two kinds of tantrums; the sort done by children in order to get their way, and the sort done by adults who are at their boiling point.
