A luxury grand touring coupe sold by Toyota from 1981 to 2005 for the Japanese domestic market. The third and fourth generations of the Soarer were sold elsewhere in the world as the Lexus SC. Upon the introduction of the Lexus marque to the Japanese market in 2006, the Soarer nameplate was discontinued, and the car was sold as the Lexus SC in the Japanese market until its discontinuation in 2010.
