The VHS (Višenamjenska Hrvatska Strojnica, "Multifunctional Croatian Machine Gun") is a 5.56×45mm NATO bullpupassault rifle designed and manufactured by HS Produkt of Croatia, and as such is the Croatian Army's service rifle. The VHS-D was the first variant accepted into service in 2009, while the VHS-D2 was an upgraded variant introduced in 2013. The semi-automatic version is imported into the United States as the Hellion by Springfield Armory, Inc.
