Deutschland class heavy cruiser. Laid down in 1931, launched in 1933, commissioned in 1934, sunk in 1945 in Kiel by RAF 'Tallboy' bombs. The most successful of the pocket battleships, sinking 137,223 tones of merchant shipping throughout her career.
