Alysa Liu (born: August 8, 2005) is an American professional figure skater. A native of Oakland, California, she is a double Olympic gold medalist from the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in the team and women's individual events, besting Japanese opposition both times. In the latter, she became the United States' seventh gold medalist but the first since Sarah Hughes in Salt Lake City in 2002.
She won the US Figure Skating Championships' women's competition in 2019 at the age of just 13 but retired due to burnout before coming back. She is also an avid anime and manga fan whose favorites include Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Shingeki No Kyojin, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and Soul Eater.
