Rei is a conman and a member of Dotsuitare Hompo.
He is the biological father of Buster Bros!!! and a former member of the military's technical development department, but left to develop hypnosis microphone technology on his own. He is extremely sociable and always speaks in a joking manner, so his true intentions can be hard to discern. He'll stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He possesses a strong sense of loyalty, always keeping his promises. His goal is to save his wife, Nayuta, from a coma and win the affections of his two youngest sons, Jiro and Saburo. He tends to refer to himself as "Oji-chan".
