amusement park
A large park with a variety of thrill rides, games, and other attractions. They generally cater to a much wider age group than children's playgrounds. There is some overlap between the attractions at amusement parks and those found at festivals and traveling funfairs, but amusement parks tend to be permanent installations that are open all season rather than as a short-term event.
