Form factor of feature cellphone from the late 1990s and early 2000s, also known as a monoblock or candybar phone. Characterized by having the keypad, navigation buttons, and screen on a single flat surface. Not to be confused with the larger brick phones of the 1980s.
Flip phones separate the screen and buttons on two halves of a clamshell design. Slide phones conceal the keypad on a separate retractable layer. Smartphones have no physical keypad.
