A fictional variable geometry manned giant robot from the Gundam mechaverse. It first appeared in the Zeta Gundam TV series from 1985.

NRX-055 Baund Doc

A transformable, psycommu equipped mobile suit first deployed by the Titans. Ironically referred to as "the most beautiful and elegant of all MSs" in the first episode of Gundam ZZ (1986), despite its distorted, asymmetrical and outright ugly appearance when in MS mode.

Multiple units were handed out to exceptionally skilled Newtype and Cyber-Newtype pilots, including Jerid Messa, Gates Capa and Rosamia Badam.

In real life the Baund Doc was designed by Kobayashi Makoto. He liked the final design so much he reused it modified to develop the enemy mecha for his anime Dragon's Heaven.
