bread eating race
A type of race where runners must grab a piece of dangling bread (often melon bread) with their teeth, then reach the finish line while it's still in their mouth.
Some versions of the race may have contestants have their arms tied behind their backs to prevent the contestant grabbing the bread by their hands.
