A fictional character from the Gundam mechaverse.

Bright Noa was first introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam (1979). He is a skilled Earth Federation/AEUG/Londo Bell captain who commands many space battleships, notably the White Base and the Argama. A meme (Bright Slap) sprung up from the way he literally slaps some sense into his subordinates, notably Amuro Ray.

Has appeared in many U.C. series and anime like Zeta Gundam (1985), Gundam ZZ (1986), Char's Counterattack (1988) and Gundam Unicorn (2010).

Father of Hathaway Noa and Cheimin Noa. Husband of Mirai Yashima
