cadian shock troops

A Regiment of the Astra Militarum born in the Cadian Sector. Known to be the most common type of soldier seen in various Warhammer_40k media from the Tabletop to the Video Games. Almost all Guard Regiments sport the same Uniform and Armor as the Cadian Shock Troops.

Lorewise, they are the most battle hardened and experienced of the entire Imperium. It is due to their proximity to the Eye of Terror and baring the Brunt of all Thirteen Black Crusades Launched by Abaddon the Despoiler, as well as Facing multiple incursions, heresies, and Invasions within the Cadian System, They are considered the standard that all Astra Militarum regiments aspire to.

Sadly, the Homeworld of Cadia is destroyed. With the Fall of the Planet and the creation of the Great Rift, Many of the Cadian Survivors relocated elsewhere, Vowing revenge for the destruction of their homeworld at the hands of the Warmaster.
