chest rig

A piece of tactical gear consisting of a chest harness with multiple pouches to hold various items, such as magazines, walkie-talkies, knives, and other equipment. It is worn on the torso and separate from clothing articles.

Initially designed for military and police combat purpose, chest rigs have been adopted for civilian use, especially ones designed with a single pouch.
