The second major Abrahamic religion and largest one today, Christianity is centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ, the worship of Jesus and God, and the veneration of numerous saints. It is generally split into three major branches: Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Protestantism (including Mormonism), though each of these have their own various subdivisions.
Christianity is frequently used in Japanese media as a shorthand for "outsider/foreign force", such as in the Fate (Series), Hellsing, or High School DxD, usually depicted as a monolithic power bloc without regard to the many, many differences between Christianity's various branches.
