clumsy

A character making a mistake due to their clumsiness, lack of attention, etc. A good example is when a character gets tangled up in their legs and falls. Anime girls who are known for being bungling, clumsy, klutzy, or blunder-prone are referred to as dojikko.

It's not the same as you're doing it wrong, where normally the error happens due to the character's lack of knowledge rather than their clumsiness.
