colorpoint (pattern)
シャム ポイント シールポイント シャム猫 ポインテッド 重点色
A type of color pattern in animals where the extremities have darker coloration than the rest of the body, most commonly associated with Siamese cats.
It is caused by a coloration gene that makes pigmentation most present in the warmest parts of the body, particularly the ears, tail tip, paws and face.
Despite its association with the Siamese breed, it can be found in other types of cat, as well as other animals like rabbits.
