A performance art in which the performer showcases their extreme level of body flexibility.

Use this tag for characters bending their body into difficult or even impossible positions. Use flexible for more ordinary poses not requiring an extreme degree of flexibility.

There are several common contortion poses. A backbend involves of bending the back backwards to an extreme degree. A frontbend involves bending in half forwards. The splits involves opening the legs very wide in opposite directions.
