XM-X2 (F97) Crossbone Gundam X-2

The second of the customized Gundam type mobile suits developed for the Crossbone Vanguard.

The X-2 was virtually identical to its brother, the Crossbone Gundam X-1, with the exception of a customized Shot Lancer equipped with more machine gun barrels and its black and lilac finish, the personal colors of its pilot Zabine Chareux.

It was eventually captured by the Jupiter Empire alongside its pilot, and pitted against Tobia Arronax in a gladiatorial-style execution; however, the crafty Tobia managed to outsmart his captors and hijacked the Core Fighter, using it to escape; the X-2 was then left disabled, requiring the Jupiter Empire to modify the unit into the Crossbone Gundam X-2 Kai.
