A brand of bottled water produced by the Coca-Cola Company.

The brand is infamous in the United Kingdom after a disastrous launch in 2004 when the public learned the water in Dasani bottles came from treated local tap water and not pure water as advertised, causing public backlash as it sounded similar to a plot of a 1992 episode of the British sitcom, Only Fools and Horses, where the lead character starts a scam by selling bottled tap water as Spring water. The public backlash along with one batch was contaminated with high levels of bromate, led Coca-Cola to stop selling Dasani in the UK and halting future plans to expand it to Europe.
