death note (object)

The titular item of Death Note. It is a supernatural notebook used by shinigami to kill people by name, provided the writer has seen the victim's face. A specific means of death can be included, otherwise the victim simply dies of a heart attack.

Yagami Light's Death Note is notable for its English print.
