disgaea
An SRPG series developed by Nippon Ichi, it spawned multiple sequels, as well as an anime, two manga series and remakes on both the PSP and DS. It appears to take place in the same universe as other Nippon Ichi games such as La Pucelle, Phantom Brave, Phantom Kingdom and Soul Cradle, and crossovers between them are frequent. Character designs are primarily done by Harada Takehito.
