dottore (genshin impact)

Il Dottore, also known by his codename "The Doctor", is the second of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and a major antagonist in Genshin Impact. He first appeared in the supplementary manga before his first in-game appearance.

Prior to becoming a Fatui Harbinger, he was a researcher from Sumeru known as Zandik. He was exiled from his homeland for performing unethical experiments and "enhancing" humans. Pierro would later recruit him to join the Fatui. He finds his name "humorously ironic."

Like the other Fatui Harbingers, he is named after a stock character in the Italian theater genre Commedia dell'arte.
