He first appeared in the Final Fight game from the 80s, and in many other fighting games since then.

The corrupt Edi E. is a big and fat police officer with a mustache (or beard in some production and promotional art) who is in the payroll of the evil Belger and helps the original Mad Gear gang terrorize the streets of Metro City.

He is a tough end of level boss and the only character in the game who uses a firearm.
