flashing eyes
A visual effect where the eyes of a character flashes or lights up with a sparkle as if they are "activated". Used to depict a character noticing something, being excited, plotting to do something or just to signal their presence.
The main difference between this and sparkling eyes and + + is that the sparkle is much more intense and should fully or nearly cover the eyes or even replace the eyes themselves.
