A Xian magic to ride on clouds, used by Sun Wukong in the Journey to the West. It also refers to the magical cloud itself. In the story, the Monkey King performs somersaults to "charge" magic power into the cloud. In Japanese, it's also written as 金斗雲 or 斤斗雲.

Frequently drawn using whorled clouds.

  • 筋斗雲 (kinto'un)

A magical, flying yellow cloud in the Dragon Ball franchise, modeled after the original jindou yun. It only allows people with pure good hearts to ride on it.
