Almost always seen exclusively with his eyes closed, Bunta is a fearsome driver, one that dwarfs even his own son's otherworldly abilities (he can maintain a drift while taking BOTH HANDS off the wheel to light up a cigarette). Despite his immense skills, he realizes his time is past, and decides to train his son to be what he could not - a professional racing driver - through extremely unusual means.
