Future Cop: LAPD is a 1998 third-person science fiction and cyberpunk 3D shooter video game developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts and released first for the PlayStation 1 console, then Mac OS and Microsoft Windows. The game was released in Japan in 1999.
In the game, players assume the role of a police officer pilot for the X1-Alpha, a walker mecha designed to fight in the "Crime War" in Los Angeles, California, USA during the year 2098.
Despite its poor sales, the game received generally positive reviews.
