gingham clothes
Clothing with a pattern made of small, even checks formed by criss-crossing stripes. The stripes are usually colored on a white background, creating a repeating mix of white squares, lighter-colored squares, and darker-colored squares.
Commonly used in dresses and tablecloths. The Kobeya uniform is notable for incorporating a gingham apron.
Not to be confused with plaid clothes, which uses varying stripe widths, nor with checkered clothes, which uses solid squares of alternating colors without mid-toned checks.
