A fictional mecha from the Gundam series. It first appeared in Gundam ZZ from 1986.
RGM-86R GM III
The final mass-produced refit of the venerable (but aging and underperforming) GM mobile suit series. It was first deployed during The First Neo Zeon War. Used by the Earth Federation, its EFSF branch (both in red and white/blue and white colors) and the AEUG/Karaba (in green and white colors).
While its outside appearance is mostly the same, it's faster, has better electronics, can be equipped with missile pods and possesses the Gundam Mk II's binder jetpack, as well as reinforced armor in select parts. Distinguishable by the pair of radio antennas on its head unit, resembling the Ideon.
Preceded by the GM II and succeeded by the Jegan.
