gothic architecture
A style of architecture which flourished during the high and late medieval period. Often associated with cathedrals.
Use this tag for buildings and structures with a Gothic design. This is loosely defined and includes Early Gothic and Gothic Revival structures as well. Characteristic design elements include pointed wall arches, vaulted ceilings, spires, and the flying buttress.
