Touhou's sixth Child of Miare, a reincarnation of the writer Hieda no Are. Hieda no Akyuu is the ninth and current incarnation.

Currently, as there are no canonical depictions of Akyuu's past lives, any appearance given to Amu in fanworks is pure speculation, but she is generally given the same light purple hair as her current form.
