Infection monitors are medical devices which keep track of an individual's oripathy infection, along with their general health and well-being. They are worn by many personnel at Rhodes Island, typically those already suffering from oripathy, but also some uninfected individuals, particularly those at high risk. A variant called a suppressor has additional functions to help the infected control originium arts outbursts caused by the disease.

Monitors are manufactured by a number of different companies, but the ones produced by Rhodes Island are the most common, resembling black, solid bands with inlaid, X-shaped blue lights. In general they take the form of a personal accessory or piece of jewelry. They are usually but not always worn close to external oripathy lesions when those are present.
