Sexual or romantic interactions between persons of different racial or ethnic backgrounds. More obvious cases are denoted by skin color (e.g. a light skinned person and a dark skinned person).

Don't use this tag if the difference in skin color is slight or ambiguous (even if the characters are canonically from different racial/ethnic backgrounds).

For when the interracial relationship is sexually fetishized, such as in "blacked" or "bleached" content, see race fetishism.
