A character from the MACROSS series. He is the main protagonist of the Macross Plus OVA from the 90s.

Isamu Alva Dyson is a very skilled -but hot-headed and cocky- U.N. Spacy variable fighter ace and prototype mecha test pilot. His mecha of choice are the VF-11 and the YF-19 variable fighters.

The character is voiced by Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad) in the American dub of the OVA. Cranston also voiced Marty Tohn in the anime Honneamise No Tsubasa.
