itoshiki mikoto

A character from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Older brother to Nozomu (both of whom look almost identical) and Rin, as well as a doctor who runs his own private clinic. However, like his siblings, his name also has an unfortunate connotation when compressed: his name can read as "絶命" - "zetsumei" ("death") - which explains the rarity of his patients. He could lose himself when called "zetsumei-sensei" ("Dr. Death").
