kusakabe satsuki

Kusakabe Satsuki is one of the two main protagonists (alongside her sister Kusakabe Mei) in the 1988 animated Studio Ghibli film My Neighbor Totoro.

A 10-year-old girl. Satsuki is Mei's older sister, Satsuki is the traditional name of the fifth month of the Japanese calendar, the equivalent of the English May.

She was voiced by Hidaka Noriko in the original Japanese version, Dakota Fanning in the Disney dub and the late Lisa Michelson in the Streamline dub.

Satsuki has short, messy black-brown hair and dark eyes.
She wears a yellow shirt and an orange skirt.
