long spout teapot

A teapot with a one meter long spout as used in traditional Chinese teahouses.

The long spout is supposed to cool the tea to about 80°C, the optimal temperature to enjoy Chinese Jasmine tea. The act of skillfully pouring tea from this pot without spilling a drop is an art in itself.
